Clifton Park offers an AWANA program for children ages 3 through grade 12, every Tuesday from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., September through May. The term 'AWANA' stands for "Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed," and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
This program emphasizes scripture memorization and a clear understanding of the Gospel message, presented in a fast-paced and fun-filled format. Participants are encouraged to bring friends along, too! Parents are welcome to stay and watch, or even help if they would like.
