At Clifton Park Baptist Church, we gather as a community to worship, grow, and serve together. We have a variety of ministries in which you can join fellow brothers and sisters in doing ministry to help build the body of Christ. God has given each of us spiritual gifts, consider where the Lord is leading you to be an encouragement for others.
Audio Visual Ministry
The Audio Video (A/V) Ministry serves God and the Church through the provision and maintenance of electronic media including sound, picture, and film. The primary service of the A/V ministry occurs on Sunday mornings for worship service, however, A/V is also available to serve during events, or on occasion as requested by CPBC members for approved activities being held at the church.
The A/V Manager provides leadership and oversight for all audio/visual operations. Technicians assist in proper setup, provision, maintenance, and dismantle of all sound, picture, and film equipment as utilized.
The Bereavement Ministry is a congregational ministerial team that provides support and demonstrates love, care and hospitality to Clifton Park Baptist Church family members as they grieve the loss of a loved one. This ministry is primarily responsible for planning, preparing and hosting repasts after funeral services. In the weeks following a funeral, ministry members remain in contact with the bereaved family and are available to assist the family with writing thank you notes, as well as cleaning, packing and addressing personal needs.
The Communications Ministry consists of a dedicated group that works with all ministries and committees at Clifton Park Baptist Church to help build the framework for effectively communicating the Gospel and the church ministries for God's glory and to the benefit of His Kingdom. We ensure that the mission and vision of the church is represented well through quality production of materials and effective promotions —internally and externally, utilizing a variety of communication vehicles. Worship bulletin & presentation slides, monthly announcement supplement, event promotion and media resources are some of the products produced through the Communications Ministry.
Greeters & Visitors Ministry
The Greeters Ministry consists of a team of members who are devoted to making our visitors (and members) feel welcome when they enter the CPBC facilities to attend worship, Sunday School, or other special events. We are ambassadors of Chirst. This means that we are His spokespersons in the earth. As a Greeter, this is important to understand because we are the first persons that visitors and members see when they enter the church doors.
The Health Ministry enhances our congregation’s quality of life by helping to improve the health and spiritual well being as well as emphasizing wellness and prevention and the power to take control of one’s health.
The CPBC Dance Ministry serves to praise, glorify and exalt God through expression of the body using choreographed dance. We celebrate His splendor and greatness as we minister to the people of God, uplifting the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. There are three dance teams: Vessels of Praise (8th grade +), Women of Virtue (age 45+), and Children of the King (age 5 through grade 7). In addition to performances during worship services, we minister at nursing homes and other external events upon request.
Our primary purpose in the ministry of worship and arts is to usher God’s people into a time of praise and worship through the arts that includes singing, playing instruments, dancing, poetry and other artistic expression. The music ministry of Clifton Park Baptist Church is under the direction of our multi-talented Minister of Music, Tony Small who has a passion for the Lord that translates into inspired and blessed playing of piano, choir directing, and composing.
